Comprehensive Training

The Certified Nursing Assistant program is designed to prepare students to function in the traditional nursing assistant role in nursing centers, hospitals, and home care agencies. AMG believes that an ethical, legal, and imperative obligation exists to provide students with the necessary education and training for safe, effective, and sensitive functioning as nursing assistants. Focusing on the nursing assistant's skills and functions, safety, and the psychosocial approach to patient and resident care, the program emphasizes the needs of individuals across the lifespan, from infancy through old age. The Certified Nursing Assistant program offered by AMG aligns with its mission “to improve the quality of life of all students through education and occupational training in a community that fosters lifelong learning.”
